International Cruise Recruitment Services Ltd (ICRS LTD) was founded in the year 2005 by Mr. Dewanand Goboodun.
Mr. Goboodun has 25 years of experience in the hotel industry. He started his career at Le St Geran hotel in 1975. Mr. Goboodun has also worked as operations supervisor for aircraft catering. During his career, he served on board the Cunard Line Ltd and also had the honour to serve the Queen of England - Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh as well as stars like Rod Steward and Neil Diamond.
After a long and successful career with Cunard Line, he was offered the opportunity to recruit Mauritians for the Cunard Line Ltd.
Recruitment for Disney Cruise Line started in May 2005 followed by recruitment drive from Princess Cruises in September 2005. Since February 2010, the Company started recruiting for the Crystal Cruises and November 2010 for P&O Cruises. In March 2012, Steiner contacted the company to recruit Mauritians for the Spa department. Since then, Costa Cruises and AIDA Cruises started recruiting through the company since June 2014 and September 2014 respectively. As of 2017, we have also started recruitment for Norwegian Cruise Line.
For the medical clearance of each selected candidate, the company has it's own approved Doctor from South Africa - Dr. Marcus Brauer. www.meditravel.co.za
